MECCHA CHAMELEON is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game where players paint their white character's body to blend into the environment. Hiders must use the color picker to copy colors from walls, floors, and objects, then find a hiding spot and pose naturally to avoid detection by Seekers. The game was released on Steam on June 10, 2026 by developer lemorion_1224.

The game supports 2-10 players, with the recommended range depending on the host's network environment. Players can join public matches for matchmaking with strangers, or create private servers for playing with friends. Streamers can easily host viewer participation games.

Currently, MECCHA CHAMELEON is available exclusively on Windows via Steam. The game does not have macOS or Linux versions at launch. It supports Multi-player, PvP, and Online PvP with features including camera comfort settings, custom volume controls, and surround sound.

Players use an in-game color picker to copy exact colors from the environment — walls, floors, shadows, and objects. The picked color can be fine-tuned using HSV sliders for perfect matching. Players can also save useful color palettes for specific maps and hiding spots, making painting faster in later rounds. Advanced Hiders layer multiple colors to match shadows and patterns rather than painting one flat color.

The best Seeker strategy is to search for bad shapes before bad colors. A Hider can match the wall perfectly and still look wrong if their pose or outline does not fit the area. Search in patterns rather than running randomly, check common object clusters, and look for shapes that do not belong. Popular hiding spots like corners and behind objects are checked first, so scan busy visual areas where Hiders try to blend in.
